Hip Injection Cases

53 years old patient, female fitness instructor, with right hip pain for 2 years. The xray shows osteoarthritis because of hip protrusion. Because of her young age we decided to delay the hip replacement procedure. She underwent a hip injection with hyaluronic acid and local anaesthetic. There was immediate relief that still lasts 2 years after the injection.

67 years old patient with right hip pain. The MRI shows osteoarthritis and bone bruising. A hip injection with hyaluronic acid, cortisone and local anaesthetic was performed. There was immediate relief that still lasts 1.5 years after the injection.

62years old patient with left hip pain worsening during last 5 years.  Xray shows end stage osteoarthritis and total hip replacement was proposed.
